Six years after the FBI closed the X-Files former agent Dr. Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is working as a physician at Our Lady of Sorrows hospital where she is treating a boy with a rare terminal disease. In Virginia several women are abducted and the only clues the FBI has are provided by Father Joseph (Billy Connolly), a priest a convicted pedophile. He claims God is sending him visions of the crimes and he leads them to dismembered parts of victims buried in the snow. When a young agent becomes the next victim the FBI decides they need help from the former X-Files agents. They will drop all the charges against former agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) if he helps them with this case. Mulder and Scully with reluctance join the manhunt that pulls them in their dark past and the discovery a gory crime scene. |
