Another film in a series from Quentin Tarantino, Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) follows the story of a flight attendant working for a small Mexican airline. While the pay is low and the position menial, it allows Jackie to smuggle money from Mexico into the United States for arms dealer Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson). Brown is intercepted at the airport by ATF agent Ray Nicolet (Michael Keaton) and is pressured to cooperate or face jail time. Jackie refuses to have anything to do with Nicolet at first and is placed in a prison cell, awaiting trial. She soon finds herself free though, thanks to bail bondsman Max Cherry (Robert Forster), what she doesn't know is, Robbie is the one who hired Cherry, and he's suspicious of Brown's association with the ATF.
