The story begins with a bartender named Owen Peadman (Jason Mewes), who decides to move to Los Angeles to help his father run his small restaurant which needs urgent funds to survive. Owen was made to stay with his uncle Earl (David Keith). Within a small period of time, he finds a way to mingle with the high society of Hollywood. Owen also gets a chance to develop a relationship with a wealthy Hollywood socialite named Lisa Mancini (Paris Hilton). He also forms a link with Lisa's actor boyfriend Hayden Field (Brian Hallisey). It is then that Owen manages to blackmail and taste a bit of Hollywood's disgusting lifestyles. Also, he gets caught up in a romantic web and his love for Lisa keeps increasing in intensity.
