Mikey Walsh (Sean Astin) and his family as well as his friends' families are being forced to move from their homes. He, his brother Brand (Josh Brolin) and his friends (who call themselves "The Goonies") discover an old pirate's treasure map in the attic of Mikey's house and decide to go on one last adventure together in an attempt that just maybe they can find something that will prevent them from losing their homes and each other. On the way, they encounter a family of criminals (Anne Ramsey, Joe Pantoliano, Robert Davi) who also are in search of the buried treasure and it's a race among various traps and secrets that will determine who gets there first. |
